The latest iPhone model has had people queue-up outside the apple store everyday, for the past week. I had a quick play with it, and is being able to capture Video really worth the hype?

AIGA Design Week 09: Christian Helms
Christian Helms (thedecoderring.com), gave a thorough presentation of his work last night, from the Adobe headquarters here in San Fran (A full-block warehouse conversion in SoMA).
His design style is rooted with that southern look - compressed type, locked-up neatly, but imbibed with a more graphic, and idea-based sensibility, perhaps mastered while being an intern with Michael Bierut.
His most recent work to note was for the Obama campaign, including a poster series, this has led to a meeting next week with the art director for the white house. As he said last night, ‘How f***ing cool would that business card be?’

Sad bear is sad because you threw your cigarette out the window. The smokeybear.com website is quite cool though

Nick Cave soundsuits at the Yeuna Beuna centre, SFO.
Saw a great show at the YBCA today, with Nick Cave’s soundsuits. Yes, I thought it was Nick Cave the musician at first too, it wasn’t till I got inside and realised this artist is quite different.
The costumes are incredible, and are intricately fabricated by a team of artists, ranging from Polar Bears made from David Bain style sweaters, to the wild, almost Crump-influenced personalities on show here.
